SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI - Runners and walkers turned up in their numbers to support yesterday's Light it Up Run/Walk in an effort to raise funds for special needs adults.

The event was an initiative of Vigilant Stars in aid of persons with special needs and a number of persons turned up in support of it.

Runners and walkers made their way from Captain Mulligan's to Manuel Reef and back to Captain Mulligan's.

As it approached 5.30pm persons of all shapes and sizes started to arrive at the registration table at Captain Mulligan's.

Following some minutes of warming up and preparing, participants took off around 6:10 pm.

After the Run/Walk, some of the persons who took part were able to win prizes in a raffle. The prizes mostly comprised gym memberships and personal training packages at health and fitness clubs.

Esther N. Fraser of Vigilant Stars told this news site that the event was a success. “Today was a great event. I don’t have the final numbers as yet but we had a lot more participants than we had preregistered initially. We had about 40 persons preregistered and we had quite a lot of walkers today,” she said.

“It was all for BVI Services….we are going to donate the funds to them and it was great to get out into the community and support a great cause,” said Fraser. She said that the public will know in due course of the other events the organisation plans to have in the near future.

Speaking to this news site on September 23, 2015, Worthy Matron of the Vigilant Stars, Gemi P. Evans had said it is the first time the group was doing such an event.

“It’s the first of its kind as far as us hosting one. We’re doing it in order to assist the adult programme for Social Development. You know we have [adult] special needs persons and…we are going to donate some of the funds raised towards them,” Evans had told Virgin Islands News Online.

Masonic Societies are part of free masons and Illuminati which worships the Devil. I'm surprise they are openly in the BVI now. even though they do good deeds what they stand for is EVIL!

Masonic Lodge is a highly respected goodwill association concerned with philanthropy causes. The Association dates back to the Crusades. The only stipulation to join the lodge is 1) You must believe in God 2) You must be invited by a long standing member 3) You must go to meetings 4) You must work for the benevolent good of your community. The Order does not ask nor seek recognition, other than to assist and help their fellow Order members and community.

            Thanks T.C for repeating yourself
These people think that we are in the dark age. With all the information out there about the lodge, people who have been lodge members and excaped with their life are warning about this group and we are support to ignore all of that and fall for the facade of philanthropy. Because you mention god, that should make a different? Be aware that we all know that there are many gods. Which of them are you referring to? I love the way you keep repeating "must". The next thing you would tell us is that there are pastors who are lodge members. Guess what we know that too. Not everyone that says LORD LORD shall enter. Lots of wolves in sheep's clothing.

Who are you to judge? Who died and made you God? I only know of 1 God. How many are there? Tell us. Since you obviously are an authority on this subject. But uhmmm isn't it somewhere in the bible that even the devil calls God Lord? So if both of you refer to the same entity, person as God, what does that make you? A follower of the devil or a follwer of God? And YES YES YES there are MANY pastors that are masons. And yes there are many wolves in sheep clothing ... and many sheep in wolves' clothing as well (some of you will get it some won't ). Which are YOU?! Because YOU or YOUR pastor aren't masons that makes you better than another who is? Does that make you a sheep or a wolf? Judge not lest ye be judged. Check Matthew 7. And I have sheep that are of other folds...Check John 10:16. Have YOU studied? ? What do you study?

Slight correction. ..one is not actually invited by a member. You must of your own desire, want to know more, and become a part of such an organization, and then by investigating and discussing with a member be recommended (not invited or recruited).
        • trrefdrfds (27/09/2015, 15:53) Like (3) Dislike (0) Reply
They do not invite anyone. You express an interest and then apply. The rest is true though.

How do you propose I do research? By reading whatever is on the Internet? Please. The only people who know about the Order are the members themselves. So the only "research" that can be done is talking directly to members. But I bet you wouldn't ever try that. You prefer to hide behind a blog and chat ignorance without having any real knowledge. People fear what they do not understand!

Of all the things that you could make people aware of, you would go and mention hospital. Do you know the among of witches who are placed in hospitals under disguise of good nurse to kill and capture souls. So you think you mentioning The hospital own by masons is a settling of the mind. I would like to know what is the death rate and circumstances surrounding some of these death at that hospital. Go and sit down. Anything or group associated withfreemasonry is devilish and is a cult. Some groups are beginners, some intermediate and some Advance but all satanic.

I guess no one should go to hospitals anymore huh? People die at peebles and at Schneider regional and Pavia and Centro Medico and Jackson Memorial. BUT how much more are saved? The internet has so much bad stuff on it but YOU still on it though. Planes crash, boats sink, people die in car accidents so let me see... the car makers. ..road makers...pilots, airlines are all part of a grand conspiracy to capture souls huh? You have any idea what it is to be a nurse?!! Cleaning sores, human waste, vomit, blood... have you ever held the hand of someone dying from AIDS? Wiping sweat from their brow because of the fever rocking their body? What about helping a family member deal with a family dying? YOU GONE TO FAR WITH YOUR STUPIDITY! You are disrespectful to nurses and the hard work they do. I could wish that YOU are faced with such horrible situations but I would be evil and wicked like you. ..instead I will pray ro Almighty God that you receive loving, kind care ine day when you are in need of it by a nurse or doctor who is an Eastern Star or mason.

Do not waste time with the ignorant detractors who are trying to distract and derail you from your positive work. They crucified our Saviour Jesus Christ who came to save the very same people who condemned him out of pure ignorance. Keep your eyes on the Stars!

If its a Cult well so be it. No need to get worked up for something that you're not involved in! The people in the picture are just like you and me and until something has happened to you because of them there is no need for stupid comments!

Since there is a ready supply of "experts" on the masonic order and the order of the eastern star", who have made numerous contributions hereto, much shouldn't be left to be said, still I will humbly submit my contribution as well.

How is it persons professing to be Christians... followers, disciples of Christ seem to be such amazing authorities on the devil, his imps, his habits etc?!! How much time did Christ spend talking about the devil? Even when he was being tempted... where was his focus? I know someone is going to say " you have to know your enemy", and I can understand and even agree to some degree... but staying on point. You "experts" remind me of the time Jesus healed on the Sabbath (mark 3 1:6) and was taken to task for it by the Pharisses. Since when is it a sin to do good? How can doing good, showing love and compassion be evil?
But of course we all know that. Why are you who profess the be followers of Christ, so petrified by the devil anyway? WE know there is one source, one power, over heaven and earth and all between. Unless some of you are in the closet as "double agents" ...moles within religious organizations with the intent of promoting propaganda and utilizing divide and conquer tactics. Why not promote love, unity, peace, harmony among ALL? Why not support the walk/run and let YOUR light shine instead of this? How has your less than positive contributions helped this initiative? But of course we all know the answers to these questions. SiStars... keep shining, keep walking in the light. I will ever look to the East... I see you! *wink wink wink* I leave these verses for ALL to ponder.

"the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not"
    John 1:5

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
    Matthew 25:40

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal."
    1 corinthian 13:1
