UPDATE - Man found hanging identified as Luvan D. Francis aka 'Dust'

MAYABA, Tortola, VI- Our newsroom can confirm that the young man who was found hanging in a shed near his home in Mayaba in the North Western side of Tortola last night August 2, 2017, is Luvan D. Francis aka 'Dust.'
Mr Francis, age 42, was well known for his friendliness and selling fruits, most often coconut water, on the beach at Cane Garden Bay.
Police have confirmed our accurate story last night, August 2, 2017, in a press statment which stated that they are investigating the death of a male whose body was found hanging in a shed near his home in Mayaba.
Francis was pronounced dead at the scene at around 9:15 PM last evening, August 2, 2017.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - A young man is reported to have committed suicide this evening August 2, 2017.
According to information reaching this news site, the man is said to be from the area of Mayaba.
His correct name and circumstances surrounding the reason for him taking his life are unknown at this time.

We haven't had a chance to talk in recent times but he was a good dude. And yes troubled.....it's been a hard life for him guess he got tired of it. One of my oldest friendships from school days RIP brother Luvan aka "Dust"...condolences to the friends, family & loved ones
