ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Just as they were first and accurately unearthed some eight hours before the East End/Long Look Festival Subcommittee did, it is now “official”.

Our newsroom’s information of the six contestants vying for Mr and Miss Junior BVI 2017 was confirmed in a public presentation on July 16, 2017 at Village Cay Hotel and Marina by the pageant’s sub-committee.

The contestants, just as were first reported by Virgin Islands News Online, for Miss Jr BVI are Anondah M. Hodge, Daniella Rosa Industrious, Khadija Liburd and Yhenya Matthew.

In addition, for the Junior Mr BVI they are confirmed as Shamoy Davis and Yohance Smith.

This year’s pageant will be hosted at the UP’s Ballroom in Road Town on July 29, 2017, as part of the celebration of the 2017 Festival.

The Junior Mr and Miss BVI Pageant will be held under the theme Culture, Glamour and Intellect.

Exclusive: Junior Mr & Miss BVI 2017 contestants revealed

Known for our inside scoops and having sources around every table in government and where it counts in the private sector, our many contacts have unearthed the 2017 contestants for the Junior Mister and Miss BVI show.

The organising committee is having an official reveal party today June 16, 2017 at Village Cay Hotel in Road Town at 5:30 PM. The pageant is hosted by the East End/Long Look Festival Sub Committee with funding from tax payers and other sponsors.

According to sources close to the Committee, there are four young ladies vying for Miss Junior BVI and two gentlemen for Mr Junior BVI.

And they are…

The ladies are Anondah M. Hodge, Khadijah Liburd, Yhenya Matthew and Daniella R. Industrius.

For the Mr Junior BVI contestants, they are Yohance Smith and Shavoy Davis. The annual Mr and Miss Jr BVI pageant is part of the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs Committee events leading up to the 2017 festivities to be celebrated in Road Town, East End/Long Look and Carrot Bay, all on the main island of Tortola.
