Crimes of passion are also quite common. "I love you so much if I can't have you nobody will" that is a crime done out of "love" (whatever sick twisted version of love that person have in them head"

Thanks to "Saw him last night" Great clue, but there is another possible clue here. The Popo need to examine who dislike this comment and the one above from "Saw him last night". This may very well lead to the killer. It is easy, nothing done electronically can't hide. You know each like and dislike has a trail as to who the author of the like and dislikes are. Police please check this out without delay.

Alphoso Gas station should have cameras. They should also check recent cell phone activity on his number as the person would have called him to meet with him at the gas station.

    Dear everybody.

Please wait for 24 hours after a death to name the victim so that the family and extended family can be informed. The worst possible way to find out that you have lost a loved one is via the internet or Facebook. Even well intended messages of condolences that include names should be held back for a couple of days to give the family a chance to notify the important people in the life of the victim.

My condolences go out to the family and friends of this person.

That is so true. I live Carrot Bay and would pass there before it gets dark. They kill Dillinger; now them kill Alston. What is it going to take to put lights on this road. People don't pass that road after dark. It seems that because it is not lighted, they go on this road to commit crime. Suppose an innocent person had seen the action now? They might have been victim number 2? Government, please light this road, not Mitch alone. This is Government's responsibility.

People know what they are getting into. They know the possible outcome. They know the risk and if they still chose to live and carry on then why should anyone care when they didn't?. All the things that's happening in bad and violent way are NOT mistakes and strayed bullets but direct. The targets are the targets and the people who seem to think it's a cool lifestyle also mistakenly get hurt in process. But it's that lifestyle they chose to live. Most of the Virgin Islands crimes are not by accident just some think it's a game when others about the bread. What's sad is someone mom/ father /family have to find thousands of dollars to put their love one who didn't listen to them in their grave.

Can't feel some of people who chose to live reckless and unlawfully thinking it's ok because it's the new in thing.

Who dumped him there knew full well that there are a few residents in Windy Hill. They didn't care about the man's life, how much more you? A better statement would be, "Government, please put some lights on Windy Hill; maybe it might detour crimes and save more lives." So, Windy Hill Resident, go and tell the Government to do something. Hope they are reading the blogs also.

This seems to be a very passionate crime. We all know Alston was a piece of work, but we also know the kind of lifestyle he had and he wasn't ashamed either.

This person picked him up from a gas station in Ease End at night, drive to the other side of the island with this man in a dark secluded area and for what reason? Oh and the police found his pants down so tell me what you think. Seems to me he had some serious activities going on up Windy Hill and knowing Alston he probably threatened to tell and this individual got upset and hit him.

No one deserves to be murdered...NO ONE!!

When police arrest for minor crime, mostly it's something they witnessed but when the hard crimes are committed they are not around, therefore they need the public support so what help can you two offer besides bashing the police. I don't think it was a hate crime. I think the killer did not want his secret to get out so he offed him. Windy Hill is very dark and scary after night fall. Who is going to see you up in that area or hear you screaming for help. Perfect spot to commit a crime. To the killer/killers, there is no such thing as the perfect crime. Your DNA is somewhere at the crime scene. You can scrub the inside, outside of the car/jeep all you want, some type of evidence is in that car. There are ways and things Forensics knows how to do. Take it from a person who is studying Forensics.
