CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, USVI – It was a day to forget for horses of Tortola, Virgin Islands at yesterday’s October 26, 2014 races at the Clinton E. Phipps Park in St. Thomas, USVI, as their performance was dismal with the highest placing being last place out of two horses.

Race one saw Appealing Son taking the victory ahead of A Cat That Flies and La Nina W. In race two, Pa Pa Pa Perfect got the win ahead of Selena’s So Mad and Miss Double Jet.

In race three, Baby Champ took victory ahead of Noble Forever and Perfect Sunday.

Race four saw Philly Thunder emerging the winner ahead of Fort Pyramaid of Tortola and Warrior’s Cove. Officials said that Fort Pyramaid stepped on its foot and injured itself and as a result was not able to finish first.

For race five the winner was Still Unbroken ahead of Halo’s Midas Touch of Tortola. Gamekeeper also of Tortola was scratched.

The feature race, race six, saw Stephen Got Better coming home ahead of Holy Barbara and All About Faith.

Break Up The Game won race seven ahead of Apollo Sky. Another Tortola horse Trading Secrets was earlier scratched from this event.
