CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - A routine traffic stop by police in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) resulted in the arrest of two individuals, after cocaine was discovered in the vehicle they were traveling in, Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Media Specialist, Sakeeda Freeman has announced.

The incident occurred on March 7, 2018 at about 4:27 P.M. at the intersection of Harwood Highway in the vicinity of the Calvary Christian Academy, and involved a red Jeep (police did not specify a model).

According to Ms Freeman, upon conducting an investigation of the vehicle, a large amount of a white powdery substance was discovered. The white powdery substance field-tested positive for cocaine, she said.

Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Jesus Del  Rosario Randon and 21-year-old Khadin Calvin Fahie, who police said was the passenger of the vehicle when the narcotic was discovered.

The suspects were charged with constructive possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending their advisement hearing.

thank you it is not Jesus of Nazareth. we sometimes give our children names from a biblical point of view to help them in life but still the devil comes knocking at our doors. When it comes to cocaine I hate that name but when it comes to ganja I am a bit lenient as I have used for a medical ailment and it really helped.Guys while in the sanctuary pls ask the Lord into your lives it is only He and He alone can charge your habits and lead you down a clean and stable way and pls when you all get out change your ways and find decent jobs enhance whatever skills you may have whether you are a singer mechanic educator whatever. God will make a way where you think there is no way.
