CHRIST CHURCH, Barbados - Two decomposed bodies were discovered in a residence in Regency Park, Christ Church.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector (Ag.) Rodney Inniss said they are believed to be an elderly female and her daughter in her 50s. The pair was discovered about 1.30pm in the afternoon, of Saturday, September 7, 2019.

The grisly discovery was made by police who had accompanied a concerned family member who was visiting from the UK.

Inniss told Loop News that the decomposition is at an advanced stage such that the two could not be positively identified as yet.

He said at this time there is no confirmation that the pair are indeed the residents of the home.

Police are at the scene as investigations continue.
