ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One of the world’s most influential preachers, Dr Kilari Anand Paul, advisor to presidents and world leaders, has said he will be approaching President of the United States of America Donald J. Trump as part of his mission to influence world leaders and persons in other powerful positions and those with money to invest in the economy of the Virgin Islands (UK).

Dr Paul was on a four-day mission to the Territory, bringing with him one of the world’s greatest in boxing history, the only four-time heavyweight boxing champion, Evander ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield, 55. The team spent the past few days touring and exploring business opportunities around the territory and has also took to the pulpits of at least two churches, the Cane Garden Bay Methodist Church and the New Life Baptist Church, both on Tortola.

Just mere hours before hopping onboard the Road Town Fast Ferry for the US Virgin Islands (USVI), the duo had a meeting with Premier and Minister of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith (AL) and subsequently met with local journalists.

Money matters

Dr Paul said, “Cash rules in all matters. Where there is no money it is hard to rebuild an island like this, that has been damaged so badly, houses and roads and buildings and offices and even after four months there is still lots more needed to be done…I will be speaking to President Trump also, I am on his advisory team since 2002 and I will be speaking to other people that I know with the help of the Premier and his office.”

In love with the VI

According to Dr Paul, he was moved by the hospitality of the VI people.

“Evander Holyfield, he is in love, we are in love with the BVI. People have been so loving, friendly, hospitable, I don’t have enough words to say. All I can say is love help us, unite us, and bring us together to all our efforts, especially the investors.”

According to Dr Paul, it is heartbreaking to see how the VI has been affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria of September 2017, “And heartbreaking to see how the world has forgotten, and heartbreaking to see how much reconstruction efforts need to be taking place, that’s the reason why we are here mainly.”

He; however, complimented the territory’s recovery progress when compared to other neighbouring countries, who in some instance were not as hard hit as the VI.

“If you compare the US Puerto Rico, still people have no much electricity, devastated, people committing suicide. I was talking to Brother Jerry Farara [Gerard St C. Farara QC] yesterday and I said wow almost 80/90 percent of the people getting electricity back, which is most important, having water back which is most important, and of course the roads and the house will take time to reconstruct.”

The Big Plan

There is a big plan by Dr Paul and Mr Holyfield, and that is to promote the staging of summits here in the territory in order to bring big spenders.

“Our goal is to conduct future summits like we have done for the last 35 years in the US and around the world. In Nigeria we had 54 presidents, in Sudan we had 39 presidents brought, in India 2015 we had 44 presidents. We want presidents, prime ministers, billionaires, donors, investors, leaders to do the summits here,” Dr Paul said, noting he has communicated this vision to Premier Smith.”

According to Dr Paul, he has also extended an invitation to Premier Smith to be in India on April 14 and 15, 2018 for a global peace rally. “And I think he has accepted.”

Premier Smith confirmed that this was part of his discussion with Dr Paul and Mr Holyfield. “I also know that as a result of their visit, there will be more interest internationally of what can be done to assist the BVI in the recovery process.”

While noting that its important that he must do what is necessary for the recovery of the territory Premier Smith added, “Apart from the loans and grants etcetera from the UK (United Kingdom) and other places, we need the international community to work with us to recover.”

“World Leaders” is the name of the proposed summit which, according to Premier Smith, has been the vision of the owner of Buck Island.

      Accountability[edit]
There are reports online that in 2005, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability terminated the membership of Paul’s organization, Gospel to the Unreached Millions, for allegedly failing to meet financial accountability and governance standards.

Why is the government in talks with a man whose organization was ousted from a world evangelical council for LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND GOVERNANCE with the funds he collected??

People wake up these two people call Donald and Paul is all for themselves. We people in the BVI have to be very careful of who want to cash in and take advantage of us. Let us all keep a sober mind because we have a done deal government. LORD WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER.

You of the BVI have for the most part been very vocal in trashing and bashing Trump and now you want him to come to your aid??? The rest of the world is not as stupid as you think!! You do not want transparency and regulr audits and you want U.K. to give lots of money with no strings attached??? It is not in the minds of these big countries/rich people to not put controls on their funds. How do you think they got ahead in this world?

Trump would probably fit the BVI into one of the "S***HOLE* Countries he mentioned he doesnt want invading the United states, so why even encourage this racist?....we have enough problems as it is....Theres the Nationals vs Non-nationals tension that is growing..... I keep hearing negative comments mentioned from both parties, one in particular from Nationals "Them down island people can go back home....we dont need them" ....well like Bernie Sanders mentioned in a recent interview on CNN "Dont judge people by the colour of their skin, or the country they came from , whether or not they have an accent ...Judge them on whether they are GOOD HUMAN BEINGS..."......
    • @Captain Hook (16/01/2018, 14:01) Like (0) Dislike (0) Reply
That is exactly the point. Many of them have been given a fair chance and judged whether they are a good person or not and then in the end show who they really are. Some of them will even take the clothes from your back if they get a chance. Not saying there are not some really good ones because there are. Anyway this is totally unrelated to the topic. Don't know Dr.Paul but Mr. Holyfield seems to bee a good man.

Reading this article was very disappointing. Donald Trump is anti black and brown people. His only interest is Donald Trump. Dr. Paul must be another Ben Carson, one of Trump's "African-American ".I was born and raised in New York City and I can tell you about Mr.Trump. Why would any sane person ask for help from this racist? GOD HELP THE BVI.

Well, Well.It seems as if we are desperate for money so we are holding onto any straw for our survival. In our quest to rebuild the territory, we should sit and do some soul searching. First of all we need to pray for God to direct us. We cannot rely on our own strength. Secondly we must believe in ourselves.

Instead of looking for outside help, we should focus on what we can do internally. Hon. Lavity Stout had a plan and a vision for the territory and the present government has none. With all the intellectuals they have, they cannot find a solution. They have neglected the Small Man and cater for the Big Man government according to Hon. Mark Vanterpool. Unless they change their way of thinking and embrace the small farmers, carpenters, fisher men and the other producers, there will be difficulties. I wonder how many of the Big Men are able to assist them now.

"The Devil we know is better than the Angel we dont know" We can lock our doors when we see the Devil coming... Here is the truth. Christianity were created to brain wash, Rob and Control Africans.. Africa was the first industrial country, The richest country on earth, The Europeans came by their Boats in their Skirts looking for work, there were no immigration, no work permits, Africa allows them in Freely.. Here is where the problem is. They refuse to accept and practice African culture. They form their own community in Africa and Created their own Culture and call it Christianity, created their own leader call him Caesar, remember Africans had their own God..So their First strategy was to take the people wealth so they go on this recruiting and marketing campaign Telling the people render onto Caesar the things of Caesar and your Gods the things unto Him . Now they start collecting.. The Europeans were the Poor ones in Africa, Their next strategy was to Spread proper Gonda telling Africans that their God do not like rich people, so for them to be in favor wirh theie God they have to give up their Riches to their Leader they call Ceasar..Now they are now getting the wealth they are opening businesses in Italy and other parts of europe and sending their wealrh out..(Caesar because of his success in collecting or Robbing wealth was worship and is Called Jesus ) Now with plenty White Businesses importation of more European to work in Africa the White Population grew 10 fold. Now with the division and mistrust that they created amongst Africans Rampant..They gradually took it over.. Now they controll all the bisinesses and all the wealth, They hire those africans who were loyal to them for very little as watch men maids and formers.. And round up those who were rebelling they call them trouble makers and ship them out for a small price.. They became Slaves.. They were selling them basically to themselves because they now earned all the industries in the Caribbean and all across the Americas, These sold Africans are in fact rebellion prisoners force to work for their enemies against their will were their punishment....Thinking Smart the Europeans create immigration and work permission mindful not to make the same mistakes Africa made not to control them and their movementa upon their entry into Africa. So they intend to have control over who comes and who works.... Will end here.. Will continue another time

As far as I know the BVI has always presented an image of being "a God-fearing community." So, in this time of crisis why are our leaders doubting the power of God to deliver us and entertaining all kinds of people with their own "hidden agendas" to create more problems in the future for this country? We don't need Dr. Paul, the Boxer, Donald Trump or any of their U.S.money to help us. It is imperative that a thorough background check be carried out on this individual before engaging in any further conversations with him. A word of CAUTION is important in this regard and it simply says DON"T BE TOO GULLIBLE because all that glitters is certainly NOT GOLD.
