ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A tourist was reportedly injured when a fight ensued on the popular Willy T’s, Friday night, July 22, 2016.

According to information reaching this news site, a fight broke out between “locals” and a Puerto Rican, during which a tourist who was not a part of the brawl was injured.

It is not clear at this time how the tourist was injured or what led to the fight in the first place.

Police Information Officer, Diane Drayton confirmed the incident to this news site, saying “I can confirm that police are investigating a fight at the Willy T’s last night [Friday] where one tourist reported injuries.”

It was in January of this year that a tourist was attacked and injured by a man wielding a knife on the same vessel.

According to reports reaching this news site, the ‘local’ man was intoxicated and interfering with one of the ladies on the boat and became annoyed when he was discouraged from doing so. It was at this point that the woman’s son was reportedly attacked.

Manager of Willy T's, Mr Ewan Anderson had also confirmed in January that there was an incident on the boat and said while indeed a knife was flashed no one was "stabbed."

"For 30 years nothing like this has ever happened. Unfortunately there were a couple of bad kids [on board]. We don't police the Willy T's because it is a good place to go to. We don't have these issues here and it is unfortunate what happened," Mr Anderson had lamented.

Efforts to reach Mr Anderson on this latest incident were unsuccessful.

I was here - leave people woman alone. Yes I'll admit the woman do PR are very sexy, but respect them and their man. You'll think them Puerto Ricans are punks?

it's crazy how some can't conduct themself. Every time / every single time a bit of music and drinks involved 99% of the problems are with (locals) - let's go out. Have fun. Drinks and eat but respect people's woman either a local man or tourist woman or even a woman's woman.

      You were there???

Funny as the fight started due to a Puerto Rican punching the FEMALE Willy T bar tender in the face it was the "the locals" all stepped in to protect her and then after the scuffle the Puerto Rican guys backed off and as they were leaving one guy grabbed a full bottle of jack Daniels and threw it hitting the innocent bystander tourist whose head was gashed open.

This had nothing to do with locals chasing PR women, so get your facts straight as I WAS THERE!!!!

All you other bloggers need to learn the facts first

Yet another example of the "right of passage" mentality of locals. BVIslanders are inherent irresponsible drinkers. Think they are entitled to everything that comes into the country, women, drink, money, boats, vehicles, businesses. This might sound like "the gang" but we all know that the fish rots from the head.
