So this idiot most likely was speeding, knock down a pole and now we have to be without power for over a hr. I hope he has to at least pay for the damages.

Hope they are ok. Also Is our tax that will pay for the damage? Government or insurance?

It is 11 pm and power still out, but I would like to thank the Electricity Department. They’re still out there in the dark running lines so hopefully it will be restored soon.
Even if your car just shut off, the kind of velocity it takes to clip off a whole pole....hmph. I hope you are held responsible for your actions.
