VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The free scoring Sugar Boys notched up another three points with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Sea Ago, to further cement their BVI Football Association (BVIAA) National League title ambitions on Sunday April 1, 2018.

The first half though showed that Sea Argo were no fools as they went into the break all square at 1-1 after Clarke Maxwell’s goal in the 28th minute cancelled out the opener from Michael Castello three minutes earlier.

However much to the delight of the home crowd, the Boys from Virgin Gorda turned on a sweet performance to totally outclass the visitors from Tortola, who were lacking a bench and their regular star goal-keeper.

Mohammed Kachour made it first 2-1 and then 3-1 with goals in the 47th and 58th minutes, Terance Nanton fired home his brace in the 70th and 72nd minutes to make it 5-1 and then Derol Redhead scored a sixth in the 85th.

The Sugar Boys now have a perfect 15 points from 5 games and have scored 21 goals per game. However, One Love are hot on their tails, winning again on Sunday to be within six points of the leaders with a game in hand.

One Love vs Panthers

The Panthers were One Love’s latest victims, suffering a 3-1 defeat with goals from Richard Morgan (4th), Breaton Douglas (11th) and Lenroy Murray (47th) sealing all three points.

Ramon McKoy netted a late consolation in the 80th minute.
