VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Sugar Boys avenged their elimination in the Terry Evans Cup at the feet of One Love by routing the same opponents when play in the BVI Football Association's National League kicked off on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Playing on home turf, at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground, Sugar Boys whipped the 2019 Terry Evans Cup finalists, One Love, 4-0.

Joshua Mathurn netted the first goal for Sugar Boys in the 10th minute and four minutes later Micheal Castello made it 2-nil.

Mohammad Kachour added a third in the 29th minute before Alcise Savery made it four goals in the 30th minute.

The 'goal well' seemed to have run dry in the second half; however, as both teams failed to trouble the scoresheets.

The first game on Virgin Gorda was to be a clash between Sea Argo and Virgin Gorda United; however, Sea Argo failed to show.

Lion Heart vs Old Madrid

At East End, Old Madrid came back from 2-nil down to draw with Lion Heart.

Strikes by Sheldon Brown and Dwayne Smith, in the 11th and 54th minutes respectively, put Lion Heart on course for a debut win in the National League; however, fate would have it differently.

Sheldon Harry pulled one back for Old Madrid in the 77th minute and was again on target 2 minutes into added time, to squeeze out the draw.

According to the BVIFA, there will be no matches this weekend.
