VALLEY, Virgin Gorda VI- Two more shows are set and ready to go next weekend as the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations move into high gear.

The Miss Gorgeous and Prince and Princess shows are scheduled for April 8 and 9, 2017 respectively at the Catholic Community Center in Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda.

Public Relations Officer of the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Adrianna J. Soverall, said everything is going smoothly.

“Everything is going on very well we are looking out for people coming to the show next weekend,” Ms Soverall said in an interview with this news site on Friday March 31, 2017.

They are Contestant # 1 Hayden Nickie, Contestant # 2 Kamia Bascombe, Contestant # 3 Carlos Martinez and Contestant # 4 James Smith Jr.

Time change

“We are changing the time for the Prince and Princess Show. It was originally scheduled to 7:30 PM, but we are getting a lot of requests from persons who are planning to attend from Tortola and neighbouring islands; so we are going to move it up to 6:00 PM.”

So it will be running in accordance with the boat schedules as well because it is a kid’s show, and a lot of kids tend to support their peers. So we don’t want them out too late.”

The show will be held under the theme “Candy Land.”
