‘We shared the ball & had fun’- Coach Paul James

Head Coach Paul James was extremely impressed with his team’s performance as he said: “We executed the game plan really well, both offensively and defensively so I’m really delighted and proud of the guys and what they did tonight.”

“I think we carried on from where we were last week, we shared the ball, had fun and they made that extra pass.

“We had thirty-three assists tonight which was unbelievable and everybody played for each other, and you could see that tonight.”

The victory was the first in front of the home crowd since October, he added: “It’s about time, the fans have come and watched week in week out.

“We’ve had some close games that we’ve lost and it was nice tonight that we put on a show and gave them something to really cheer about.

“Hopefully we can continue that in the next few games coming up!”

Raiders’ next game will be away at Sheffield against Sheffield Sharks today, February 9, 2020.
