CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI - A lone scooter rider was reportedly rushed to the Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital in a critical state after he suffered life-threatening injuries while riding along the main road at Carrot Bay, shortly after 6:00 pm yesterday, December 26, 2020.

Details on how the accident occurred remains sketchy, however, sources told Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) that no other vehicle was involved.

Persons who were on the scene of the accident said they did their best to keep the young man conscious, until paramedics and the police arrived.

It’s a crime toremove the vehicle from the scene . This should immediately invalidate his insurance.

I would like to say, I hope everything turns out well for the young man. Second, why would someone mess with a accident scene and took it upon themselves to remove the said motorcycle from the scene? Something is not adding up. Anything removed or taken from a crime scene or accident scene is TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE.

Why don't you learn basic grammar? 'Could've' is an abbreviation for 'could have' . "Could of" is not internationally accepted english.

            What does mug people mean?
to mug someone, is take something from someone by use of force. So in this context taking someone of their respect/street cred. to be a mug, is to be fooled by someone, or to be taken advantage of.

NOW, CURSE ME OUT FOR WHAT I AM ABOUT TO BLOG, PERHAPS SOME ONE RAN HIM OFF THE MOTORCYCLE TO STEAL HIS MOTORCYCLE. GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THINK NOGGIN, IT IS A CRIME/TAMPERING/REMOVING EVIDENCE FROM A CRIME SCENE/ROAD ACCIDENT IS A CRIME.WHAT IS SO HARD TO COMPREHEND ABOUT THAT. WALK INTO ANY LOCAL POLICE STATION AND ASK THAT QUESTION AND THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT. DUMMY.

I can't sleep at nights in the Humtums Ghut area. I'm tired of reporting this problem. It get even worse before the holidays until now. I need the government to do some now. Otherwise a few friends of mine and myself plan on doing something to these bikes.

In my neighbor hood, those bikers was showing their A**es out with the noise. When I get to the level above my head with madness, that is when I do something. I am sick and F***ing tired of being tired with not being able to sit in my damn home and can not watch TV in piece, not being able to sit on my terrace and talk on the phone in piece and being woken out of bed during the night due to the stupidity and lack of any type of common sense with these damn loud bike riders. There is only but so much a person can take.PLEANTY OF PEOPLE IS PLOTTING ON WAYS TO F**K UP THOSE RIDERS AND THE LOUD BIKES.

Hope the youngin recovers. But the moving ofvths damaged bike speaks volume of the attitude of some in this country. The lawlessness that is allowed by law enforcement and the community in 2020 is sickening. And it will continue in 2021 because law enforcement and the community turns a blind eye to the mess that's going on in the British Virgin Islands.

There is no mention to what caused the accident, Id like to say that the state of the roads are not road worthy and most definatly not Scooter worthy. In a vehicle with 4 wheels you can ride through the many pot holes but the scooter will flip over and cause life changing injuries. It's not acceptable that the roads are so bad, Pot holes are celebrating birthdays as they grow and grow.
We can not accept this any more. How many scooter drivers have accidents like skidding out on gravel.

If we start waiting at the side of the road and start licking the riders off the damn bikes when they pass by with a piece of 2x4 see how fast the law is going to lock us up. You can’t even lay dow in your own home and have a good nights sleep. You complain to the proper authority and no one seems to give a damn or do anything about it.

Rules are far less stringent in the USA. Why you complaining about a country you ain't from that have tougher laws than your own country? No Harleys here!

but you have spent time in the "Damn" States. Were you sending comments to the local newspaper when a group of bikers were making noise or were you out there with a 2 x 4 or a 4 x 2 when you got upset?
You don't come from here but you are an ex-pat petty white person who 'maybe' has spent so much time here you think you have the right to be "Licking" youths... that is my comprehension of your violent nonsense rant insulting law and order because of a few kids being kids. Same rules apply in Europe btw.
