ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A bus filled with school children was one of three vehicles involved in an accident around 3: 30 P.M. on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Road Reef.

The accident occurred in the vicinity of Road Reef Plaza and involved a Hyundai e County school bus with the license plate number T-16, which allegedly bumped into a Suzuki Vitara PV12719 that reportedly bumped into Motor Car Toyota Yaris RT - 1784.

The driver of the motor car said that he slowed as a vehicle in front of him was about to turn when he felt an impact. It was the Vitara PV 12719 that had slammed into his back. The car was on rental at the time.

The driver of the Suzuki Vitara Jeep said that he was almost at a halt when he felt a hard impact and realised that he was slammed into from the back by a bus filled with school children.

The Jeep suffered the worse faith as the back was smashed in and windows shattered. The left side of the vehicle was also damaged."Boy I don't know how I get out," said the driver as he was attempting to re-enter the vehicle and had to climb through the driver's window since he could not get the door to open.

The bus driver remained silent.

When Virgin Islands News Online arrived on the scene, ranks of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) were on the scene taking measurements and controlling traffic. The drivers declined to go on record as to their course of actions but were observed in deep negotiation.

Road range issues are not all because B V I people don't feel safe and secure in their country and it's not just about crime, but also about their jobs, businesses, health care, education, access to water and other public utilities...
