PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI – Word reaching our news centre is that an accident occurred moments ago in the Pasea Estate area, between a rental car and an SUV today Saturday, May 4, 2019.

According to reports, both vehicles were heading eastward on the James Walter Francis Drive Dual Carriageway, when the male driver of the rental vehicle lost control, swerved and hit the other vehicle.

Up to post time, no major injuries were reported, however, a traumatised female passenger of the SUV received minor cuts and bruises and was encouraged to visit the local hospital for diagnosis.

With police yet to arrive, the driver of the rental vehicle has since reportedly fled the scene.

    Only cars with left hand drive should be on the road in this country except for those large public transit type buses.
