ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Former National Democratic Party (NDP 1) Chaplain, Hon Melvin M. Turnbull (R2) aka ‘Mitch,’ now with the Hon Ronnie W. Skelton (AL) led Progressive Virgin Islands Movement (PVIM-NDP2) pointed out that the PVIM is running a clean campaign when compared to its main competitors the Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) led Virgin Islands Party (VIP) and Hon Myron V. Walwyn’s (AL) NDP 1.

Mitch’s comment came at the opening of a recent PVIM rally in Road Town on Sunday, February 10, 2019, where he said the PVIM is only interested in truth and bringing hope to the people of the Virgin Islands (VI).

Practical Solutions

“Ladies and gentlemen we are here, in the capital Road Town, we know you have seen many before, we know you have heard a lot of stories, and a lot of things before, but this group… The Progressive Virgin Islands Movement team, we are here tonight, to give you truth, to give you hope and to give you practical solutions on how we can fix and rebuild this territory,” he told those gathered at the rally.

According to Mitch, “Is not about slander, is not about calling down anybody, it’s not about talking bad about anybody, it’s about bringing practical solutions to rebuilding this territory,” he uttered in pointing out that the PVIM is prepared and ready for the February 25, 2019 polls.

He said the party has a team of strong “men and women who are ready, who are prepared, who are educated, who all have the experience to lead this country for such a time as this.”

Right track

Included on the PVIM 2019 slate, is horse racing specialist and At-Large Candidate Mr Lesmore Smith, where in a January 15, 2019 video announcing his candidacy, PVIM Chairman Hon Skelton was quoted in saying that Mr Smith brings his horse racing expertise to the party.

As a former key member of the ruling NDP 1 government, Mr Turnbull implored that the PVIM has the skills to truly put the territory on a new course, “We are facing a financial hurricane and we need persons in this territory who will put things in the right track [and] who will chart a course,” he said.

For real? Do we the people deserve this?
Actually if we vote for them we do
      So the question is
