@Seriously, I agree, this should be turned into a cartoon. This story is the water cooler joke of the day here in my office. Ren and Stimpy got punked big time. LMAO, inmate was escorted by two prison guards to dig up buried loot.LMAO.

This just shows that those guards were one out of 2 things. Crocked or stupid because I can't see how they allowed themselves to be outsmarted by a prisoner that easily. Our justice system is week. SMH

Discharge them because they're either too crooked or stupid and neither should be in a detention system. Maybe have them do a lie detector test while we're at it. Comical much

This is one of the dumbest thing I have ever heard. A prisoner really fooled the head of prison or whoever, to be allowed to travelled to Cane Garden Bay to retrieve buried cash and escaped from the Prison Officers. This is unbelievable, the whole prison needs a good shakeup.

This is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard in all my life. This article is so embarrassing to us as people of the territory.

The prisoners are the one running the facility. Permission to have cellular phones, wear personal clothing, delivered meals, drugs, go and come as they please just to name a few.

It's better to for us to go jail. Life in London.

On a serious note the prison needs to be removed from the ministry of education. Education is a small component of the prison.

    Wake up people.

A hurricane on the way, all personnel should be getting the prison ready and these yahoos are taking a prisoner to CGB to look for buried treasure! What a farce! The prison needs to removed to another island or the U.S. Pay a private company to run the prison off island, it would save money and it would work.

Things tuff: could be the officers were offered a small % by the prisoner once allowed to recover his funds:

That was not the prison officers job and that is to sure you that foot had no experience in that job at all because the first thing he was to do is to call in the police and let them escort the prisoner and then an investigation in to the funds would have been on the way but the prison officers went there shopping on their minds to see how much cases of water and corn beef and some sardines biscuit they could buy
I just can't understand what level of education these people have that could have fool the average kid around here the first thing they would have asked you is if that make sense
Where are we really going from here we've got trump up north and these down south of north what crosses

I am convinced that the Ground Sea drop kick the two prison guards who escort the prisoner to look for the so called money he had buried. Idiots, the prisoner played you like a rusted flute on crack. Serious, those prison guards need to be terminated ASAP.

I thought, if any inmate claims they have money stashed the law was suppose to seize the money and investigate where the money came from. Not escort the inmate to dig up the money. The two officers is the butt of jokes. PRISON GUARDS ESCORTS INMATE TO DIG UP BURIED LOOT. LOLLLLLL.
