ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With his 15th goal of the season, Charlie Potgieter led Montessori to a 5-0 victory over Cedar School in BDO U7 School League play last week and cemented a place atop the standings.

As the BDO Primary School Leagues continued to battle the weather, Montessori School are storming their way through the season with an unbeaten run of four matches, including a 5-0 victory over Cedar School.

Potgieter notched up another hat trick, taking his season’s tally to 15 and goals also came from James Davies and Lochlan Geyser.

Begrado Flax moved into third place, behind Cedar, with a 5-1 win over Agape, led by a Drekailly Findlay hat trick and one goal each from Mason Rigobert and Joluja Morton.

Kenaldo Louie got the consolation for Agape.

In other U7 action, Enid Scatliffe Red beat Enid Scatliffe White, 3-1, on goals from Khalil Niles (2) and Ashirah James, whilst Jamarie Thompson replied for the whites.

First impressions and BFEC drew 0-0.

Big wins for St George’s & ASPS

In the U9 Group B, St George’s pulled off a remarkable 4-1 win against Cedar White, with both Christian Vanterpool and Obinna Emelandu notching a brace and Michael Davies replying for Cedar.

Althea Scatliffe Maroon’s beat Agape, 6-0, with Mario Carter scoring four and both Akeem Paddy and Tristan Anthony one each.

In Group A, Blake Kirk scored a hat trick as Cedar Green beat Joyce Samuel 3-0.

In the under 12’s, Cedar Green made it consecutive wins with a 3-1 success against Pelican Gate, with Azarni Callwood hitting two and Alex Salter the other. Khamari Smith scored for Pelican Gate and then the Green’s beat St George’s, 4-1, with Salter, Darci Reich, Nici Haycraft and Ryan Lettsome all finding the net, whilst Adrian Padilla scored for St Georges.

Jost Van Dyke beat Leonora Delville 3-0 with a hat trick from Ola Tunji, Cedar White beat BFEC, courtesy of a goal from Johans Blok and AMPS beat SDA by the same score line,, thanks to a lone strike from Omari Simmons.

Alexandrina Maduro continued their unbeaten start to the season, making it four straight wins with a hard fought 2-1 win over St George’s, with the game only settled by a late own goal, after Omari Simmons’ opener was cancelled out by Jefferson Frank’s equaliser.

Althea Scatliffe and Cedar White battled to a 0-0 draw.
