Police seeking public's help in East End hit & run

EAST END, Tortola, VI - Investigators at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are seeking to public's assistance for information related to a hit and run accident on June 30, 2020.

According to Police, on Tuesday, June 30, at about 11:00 pm, a pedestrian walking along the East End Public Road, in the vicinity of 5 Girls General Store, was struck by a white car.

As a result, he sustained injuries and was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital where he was treated and later discharged. 

The RVIPF is asking that anyone with information pertaining to the incident, to make contact at its three-digit access number 311 or the East End Police Station 368-9742 or 368-9704.

Police say information will be treated with the strictest confidence.

    Slow down people. This just reminds me how important cpr/first aid training is. We should always be prepared to assist victims such as this guy or your elderly aunt or grandpa in dire need. Are you aware that we only have 6 minutes with no oxygen? And how long til an ambulance arrives?
