"note to shameful"; and the sad thing about my racist comment and my small mindedness; there is NOTHING that you can do about it; so BITE me !!!!....you have a lot more to learn about this BVI when it come to how the citizens are treated in comparison to the white folk; let me share an example with you(FYI)…when you park your vehicle to go to the cinema in road town(a locally owned establishment) chances are you will be given a traffic ticket; I reside just outside road town; when there is a function at that "popular establishment" just at the entrance to nanny cay, the vehicle are parked on the “both sides” of “the public road” and “nothing” is done by the traffic department of the royal virgin islands police force(get the point) has nothing to do with being racist…another example; a white guy was charge with passion of cocaine found on his private yacht( worth a few million dollars) he got FIVE years OUR people are given more jail-time for being in passion of far less dope…just another example so you will see this is not about white or black just the honest facts; a white man was found in bVI waters unlawfully he was set free by the governor; a black man, “born in this BVI” but resides on st.thomas was forced to pay a huge fine for the “very same offence”….you can NOT be a citizen of this place and talking bull about being racist-I have nothing to be racist about simply calling it as I see it….go talk that(you dumb Mother F!!!er)

Whoa, Rasta. Hold off on calling people dumb. You just used "Passion" in place of "Possession" like twice and in your first comment you used the "Two" instead of "Too". Not to be a Grammar Nazi, but...you sounding kinda dumb yourself, kid.

Hey, Wiseup. You talking bull cr*p 100%.
How the hell you turn a news story about gunshot in Road Town into this stuff about white people oppressing your sad and sorry @$$, I just don't know.
You don't think the law is applied unevenly in a 100 other ways every day of the week?
You pull out a set of examples that happen to include cuacasians but any day of the week anyone could pull up examples of the law being unfairly applied across all kind of groups.
So what about when a BVIslander gets a pass from a fellow in customs so they doesn't have to pay duty - while down islanders, whites and all other foreigners got to pay top dollar.
So when police turn a blind eye to well-known local drug man from the street block to the highest parts of government and business, and they arrest a foreigner for the smallest leaf of weed.
When white or Island people living here for 30plus years and they still not granted any kind of status, while other people - white, black, no matter - who pay bribe or have influential friends can get Belonger status in just a couple years.
You plucking out the white feathers and telling us the whole fowl is white. But people aint falling for that. The whole system here is corrupt from whichever way you look at it.
Using a couple examples to tell us there is a big conspiracy based on skin color is not just stupidness, it is dangerous because it spreads false reasons to hate our fellow man.
Why you want even more hatred here? All this wickedness not enough for you?

xxxxxxx leave the UK officers and Morris alone. In the eyes of the governor, the UK officers and Morris can do no wrong.

Once again instead of taking care of the problem fighting crime we just move the problem to another area by blaming others
    • same old (22/06/2013, 15:31) Like (13) Dislike (41) Reply
So Morris gets dissed for trying to modernise the police, and also gets blame for the increase in crime. You mention UK officers, which sounds like a broken record, same old each time. There are about 200 officers in the police of which only a couple are uk officers who deal with crime directly. Now if we had many more UK officers, that would make a great difference, but I guesse you would still find something to complain about. The moaning, grumpy and lazy will always be.

I hope the NDP is watching the Brazilians, they get a 9 cents increase and money wasting on all kinds of things and not the needs of the people and fighting crime and they take to the streets!.

We are going in the direction of the USVI. Drive by shootings, robberies, burglaries. What is required is tough policing and enforcement of all laws irrespective of born here or not.
This is a small place, where are the night duty Police Officers, hopefully not sleeping in dark alleys, or running private security.
Senior Officers need to be made to account for the lack of performance rather than turning their govenment phones off when they go home.
Policing used to be disciplined with rigorous supervision. Where are the leaders, step forward.

When they allegedly caught the teacher and graphic artist with the loaded gun I didn't see you asking where are the night duty officers. You people are the same ones encouraging crimes because you see and then turn blind or you hear then turn deaf when the police comes calling.

The problem with the RVIPF unfortunately is the most of the really good police officers have either left or trying to leave the force and what we are left with is let's say not what or the type we should be paying millions of our money and simply will never be worth it either.

Be the change you want to see in the world - Ghandi

That means don't wait on Cop,Govenor, UK Officers to act, we as a ppl must unite regardless of orgin and teach our young children the way. Parents needs to keep tabs on their children, they are the future and must invest time into assisting them on the right path. Education is the key, I never had a golden spoon when I was young but my parents sacrificed everything to give me an education, I see my parents struggle and I understand that I must not let their years of hard work evaporate. I hope we all can sacrifice what is needed to ensure our children has proper education.

it takes a village and the whole community to fight crime as the police cannot do it alone! Please support the police by giving them information to assist them. just stop sitting on the side and being a critic and join hands and hearts and help!!!

Every wicked word spoken in the past, and today......dry up NOW, in Jesus name!!

All this tension come from the injustice. The dpp knows.. Tortola can change back to what it once was but it starts from those up high. Not the ones down low...they doin the worst crimes and protecting people to lock up others.. Its plain to see and no one cares do u ever think that these smart young people can't see the road the older generation left them on?.. Its nothing to look forward to..
