DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola,VI- Action in the first round of playoffs in the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League tips off at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom on Friday October 23, 2015.

The playoff round will run until Wednesday October 28, 2015 (if necessary) and will see the top four teams from each Division in action, with the Division winners playing the fourth placed teams and the runners up teams playing the third placed teams in a best-of-three series.

The 8 teams that have made the playoffs are Splash Brothers, Knights, New Heights and Talk Done in the Eastern Division and West Gunners, Bayside Blazers, Warriors and Starz in the Western Division.

In the Eastern Division, three teams (Talk Done, Z6ne 6 Ballers and Spartans) were tied with four games won and four games lost, however, Talk Done claimed the final playoff spot, having defeated both Z6ne 6 Ballers and Spartans.

Z6ne 6 Ballers are unlucky to have missed out on the playoffs after showing much game and heart, especially in their shock win over Splash Brothers.

Meanwhile, West Gunners will play Starz to get action in the playoffs underway at 6:30pm on Friday.

Talk Done and Splash Brothers will then clash from 8pm while Warriors and defending champions Bayside Blazers will go head to head from 9:30pm.

Games will continue on Saturday and Sunday.

6:30 PM West Gunners vs Starz (if Necessary)

8:00 PM Splash Brothers vs Talk Done (if Necessary)

9:30 PM Knights vs New Heights (if Necessary)

New door fees effective Friday October 23, 2015 for the duration of the playoffs: $5.00 adults & $2.00 for children 5 to 11.

Championship weekend adults $7.00 & children 5 to 11- $3.00
