BAUGHER'S BAY, Tortola, VI - United States Virgin Islands (USVI) gubernatorial candidate, Allison Petrus, called ‘Allie,’ spent the evening on Tortola, today June 12, 2018, and was a featured guest on popular radio show, ‘Honestly Speaking.’ Our roving cameras caught up with both men.

The show hosted by commentator, Claude O. Skelton-Cline, is aired on ZBVI 780 AM and was also streamed live on social media platform, Facebook.

Mr Petrus is currently in a crowded field for the Democratic Primary nomination, scheduled for August 4, 2018, in the USVI and is believed to be the front-runner.

Should Mr Petrus win the USVI's Democratic Primary, he and running mate, Senator Samuel Sanes, will face incumbents, Governor Kenneth E. Mapp and his Lieutenant Governor, Osbert E. Potter—both of whom will seeking a second, (four-year) term in November 2018.

Gubernatorial candidate Petrus, has served three (two-year) terms as a USVI Senator, and is a businessman.

Honestly Speaking’s Mr. Skelton-Cline, quizzed the gubernatorial candidate on his bid for the post of Governor, relationships with the [British] Virgin Islands under a Petrus Administration and why he sees himself, as a better alternative to replace Governor Mapp.
