ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - For the third year running, the K & J Basketball Summer Camp is currently underway at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, in Road Town, the Capital City.

The ‘Basketball Camp’ for children, both male and female from 5 and over, also features events in Easter, and Christmas.

The K & J Basketball Camp was founded by two veteran basketball players, Kennedy H. Bass and Jason A. Edwin.

They are also known for their annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, held at the same venue each year.

Winners

Both athletes have played Basketball at the Collegiate Level and are known locally for their ‘balling skills.’

Messrs Edwin and Bass are fixtures in ‘Legs Basketball Team,' which has dominated the Federation League as the Championship Team for years.

Mr Bass is also a member of the BVI National Basketball Team, while Mr Edwin is a member of the United States Virgin Islands’ (USVI) National Team and have at times, become competitors.

In addition, they have been associated with coaching the ‘Bayside Blazers Team’ and have been called upon to assist in others areas of local basketball.

Last month, Mr Edwin travelled to St Maarten with the ‘BVI Bayside Blazers,’ and was credited as a vital factor in their victory, in the ‘Battle of the Fittest 2018 Tournament.’

Mr Bass was also on the trip and served as a special advisor and scorer for the BVI team.

For God sake, it’s a baby sitting club. Good read though.

I have sent my child to the camp before. Its not a baby sitting club. If your child is interested in the sport they will take away the lessons taught. But not all kids are interested in the sports their parents force them into so then it becomes a baby sitting club because that child will show a lack of interest.
