ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - It was said on the campaign trail that Caribbean Leaders are excited about the prospects of Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Chairman, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) becoming the new Premier of the Virgin Islands (VI).

At the Saturday, February 23, 2019, Virgin Islands Party concert that featured local artists, the crowd was indeed large and even contained a regional diplomat.

In the audience was the Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon Shawn K. Richards who happened to be on Tortola for a private visit.

Hon Richards is also the Federations’ Minister for Education, Youth, Sports and Culture.

Hon Fahie, if the VIP wins the February 25, 2019 polls today, will become the third Premier of the British Overseas Territory of the Virgin Islands.
