Pedestrian struck on James Walter Francis Drive

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle while on the James Walter Francis Drive dual carriageway this morning, April 27, 2018.

It is unclear what were the circumstances surrounding the incident; however, the injured pedestrian was subsequently taken to Peebles Hospital.

The accident took place on the western bound carriageway close to the Festival Grounds.

It is not clear what action police has taken as Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton did not respond to our request for information up to the time of publication.
