One Love & Wolues to contest final of 2019 Terry Evans Cup

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The final of the 2019 Terry Evans Cup will see a clash between One Love and Wolues at the FIFA pitch in East End, Tortola, from 4:00pm on Sunday October 6, 2019.

One Love booked their spot in the championship game with a 2-1 edging of newcomers One Caribbean at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Michael Baptichon gave One Love the lead in the 32nd minute; however, Ramon De La Cruz put the game on level terms in the 43rd minute.

One Love slotted in the winning goal in the 73rd minute through Lenroy Murray.

Meanwhile, at the FIFA pitch in East End, Wolues thrashed debutants Lion Heart 6-1, with goals from Ian Chambers (26th), Noel Maxwell (37th), Phillip Nelson (42nd & 50th), Luca Reich (83rd) and Mark Gardner (85th).

Terondo Gilbert found the consolation goal for Lion Heart in the 58th minute.

Meanwhile, prior to the final on Sunday, there will be a football match involving women players. That game, subject to confirmation, will be played from 2:30 pm.
