Mrs Rosalie Adams OBE is Acting as Governor
According to the Office of the Deputy Governor, the retired civil servant, Mrs Adams, is Acting Governor in the absence of Governor Daniel Pruce and Deputy Governor Mr David D. Archer, Jr, who are both out of the Territory.
Mrs Adams will act as Governor until Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The appointment of Mrs Adams is in accordance with section 37 of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007.
Mrs Adams, a former Chair of the Police Service Commission, was awarded the OBE for services to the Virgin Islands in 2018. She has previously served as Acting Governor, led the BVI Honours Committee and the BVI Diabetes Association, and has been active in numerous other community-based organisations.

Retired or not, she does her job much better than most!
Generations come and generations go and the older generations need to give the follow on generations a chance, for they are next generations of leaders. Older gens must know when it is exit time to exit the stage
