That particular stretch of road is jinxed since the NDP put that high stupid sidewalk there. No place/enough space to escape the other driver especially when they are not holding their proper lane.

Not saying this was the case but a strong reminder to drivers please please STOP having children standing in the back especially between the two front seats. Buckle them up. You are not invincible.

I hope that everything turns out well for both mother and child. As a mother, I agree with you. Children should not be riding in any vehicle standing up between the front seats, sitting on any adult laps in the front or back seats or riding in the front passenger seat. Get a car seat or a booster seat. What do you think if you have to break fast or crash into something. The child is going to go through the windshield. Even my dog, when he ride in the car, I put the seatbelt on the dog.

At least 4 serious accidents in that spot which is now too dangerous to cyclists and pedestrians (I used to love to run but the unfinished road works have made it impossible). Narrowed road, road works, no road signs or mid lane markers, cant swerve to avoid an accident. When does this become criminal negligence by the government

I cant understand why they are making the road so narrow going west when they fully well know that the bicycles from the cruise ships use that route?

Minister of Works please man up and admit that the high side walk and narrow road you have created is a danger to the motoring and pedestrian public. There is now no way to pull to the side if a vehicle is coming towards you.Be big enough to admit that it is a danger and needs to be leveled before someone is killed, it will be on your head.Too many accidents in that area already, yes bad drivers but no where to get out of their way.

That stretch of road has been considerably narrowed by those questionable sidewalks.Too many accidents occurring.Despite this, I observe that they are still intent on constructing more of them.No lessons learned.Somebody please do something.
