More than a dozen illegal immigrants detained @ Biras Creek

BIRAS CREEK, Virgin Gorda, VI – Police with the assistance of Customs and Immigration Officers yesterday afternoon, April 10, 2017 detained a number of illegal immigrants at Biras Creek in Virgin Gorda.

Among the group, which exceeds a dozen persons, are a number of children.

A search is being conducted for others that may have separated from the group which is comprised mostly of Haitians.

Investigations are ongoing.

    It's very sad that the white people have stolen the indigenous ppl lands brought over all of our ancestors which are african ppl enslaved them then turn around and use our own black ppl to work for them the white man to go against his own ppl. Haitians are us and we are them.

    it was a mistake. immigration enforcement got word that johnson was still on the premises and overeacted.
    they can arrest and deport him at oil nut at this time. thank you.
