FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI - A Caucasian male was found with bullet wounds to his body in La Grange, Frederiksted, days after he went missing, VIPD Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced late Thursday, November 8, 2018.

According to Mr Dratte, citing a police report, the victim was reported missing yesterday, by a concerned resident, who traveled to the Francis Command Zone B in Frederiksted at 3:00 PM to file a report, and to request a welfare check on the missing individual.

Officers traveled to La Grange and discovered the remains of a Caucasian male, with what appeared to be bullet wounds to his body, Mr Dratte said.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification, according to police.

Mr. Dratte described the investigation as active.

He asked anyone with information about the apparent homicide to contact the VIPD’s Criminal Investigation Bureau.
