ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Since the revealing of the Mr and Miss Junior BVI 2017 contestants, Rosa Industrius, contestant number two has been missing in action for a number of appearances due to illness.

Rosa Industrius, contestant number two, gave the audience a fright last night, Saturday July 29, 2017 during the Mr and Miss Junior BVI 2017 pageant, when she fainted on stage while participating in the question and answer segment at the Sir Rupert Briefcliffe Hall in Road Town.

Stage personnel rushed to assist Ms Industrius and carried her backstage in attempts in helping her to recover.

It was observed a few moments later, when medical personnel were heading in the backstage area with a stretcher.

It was understood that she was then rushed to the hospital.

Details on her condition was unclear and we will update as the information becomes available.

First announcement of illness

It was first announced by the emcee, Kyza Callwood during the evening wear segment that she was not feeling well.

Following the rest of the contestants, Ms Industrius eventually mustered up some energy and presented her evening wear.

Following the evening wear, contestant number two was called for the answer and question segment and she was noticeably walking very slow on stage.

She had to bow out of the competition due to falling ill, but she secured two awards for Best Evening Wear and Best Black and White Affair.

She did look good. Why did her parents sent their sick child into such a stressful arena?

Hope contestant is okay. Maybe she did not eat as well as she should and the hectic schedule was too much. One other thing, check to see if her shoes were comfortable....tight shoes can cut off blood supply to the brain!!! This should not be overlooked !
