The Virgin Islander is scheduled to perform at the International Food and Drinks of the Islands and Karaoke Night in the compound of the Road Town Police Station.
“Melanie will be bring down the house with some of her crowd favourites. She is excited about bringing it tonight so no one should miss out,” commented RVIPF’s Public Relations Officer Diane Drayton.
“The night opens at 7:30pm with food and more food. Entry fee is $10,” Drayton further said.
In an exclusive interview with Virgin Islands News Online on recently, Amaro said she was excited about returning to the Virgin Islands to be a part of the Police Week activities and to especially speak to young people.
“I am so excited. Every time I come back home it is the best feeling…I love being back home because of the love that I receive from everyone…just seeing a familiar face. I really am excited and I can’t wait to arrive and to see everyone and to speak with the younger children about safety protocols,” she said.
Sponsoring Melanie Amaro’s visit for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is JML DeliverIT and its owner Roxie Romney who welcomed the idea of joining with the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force in encouraging young people to dream big.
