ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Local businessman Meade Malone has again put pen to paper with his second book “Unbreakable Spirit: Rising Above the Impossible” which he co-wrote with Lisa Nichols, a New York Times bestseller and motivational speaker.

At the book launching held last evening, January 31, 2012 at the Mariner Inn Restaurant, Malone told family and friends that the Lord established him on a global platform with the “credential of bestselling author, trained and partnered with one of the best communicators in the world” to deliver his message of hope in the midst of the current impending economic disaster.

In the inspirational novel, Malone’s story “A Walk of Faith” came after some soul searching and believes his mission is to communicate, facilitate and inspire hope in the promises of God.

“...it was only after I had surrendered all to the Lord, all my savings and hopes and looked to him as the source of his help did the Lord poured out his blessings and answer my call during my financial crisis at the time,” the businessman and preacher divulged.

He added, “We have holes in our buckets and if they are not fixed when given hope and blessing – will be wasted. I emerged with six characteristics that must show up in believers’ lives or company if they are to receive the full blessings. They must have a vision; integrity, patience, productivity, discipline and giftedness.”

To test his philosophies, the six pillars of success have been tested against the world’s gurus in the business world and according to Malone “they have stand up well with characteristics of the most admired companies in the world”.

He has also tried the theories on his own business and the results Malone revealed “have far exceeded his expectation”.

His successful partnership with Nichols began several months ago when they met in the Bahamas, and in light of this on March 24, 2012, Malone along with the motivational speaker and Allyson Byrd will be on St. Thomas to discuss the “six pillars of success.”

Meanwhile, Premier Dr. D. Orlando Smith, OBE said he found his friend’s story “about bouncing back” to be intriguing. The Territory’s leader in his congratulatory remarks further said that Malone’s story is another great accomplishment he has under his belt.

“I know Meade for several years as an enthusiastic businessman, strategic financial planner, a preacher, public officer and an author, whose mission is to inspire others,” Premier Smith disclosed.

The Premier’s wife, Lorna Smith, OBE fondly stated that Malone is like her brother, who has to show her respect after all she taught him in Third Form.

“He was a bright fellow and I always knew he was destined for a lot and every day we see more and more unfolding,” she added.

Likewise, 1st district representative Hon. Andrew Fahie commended the businessman and author for practicing what he preaches. “He is a man after my own heart and is not a man who wastes his life chasing success. This book focuses on purpose.”

The book cost $18 and is available at bookstores.

Bishop Adulus Todman also made remarks, while his brother Carvin Malone proudly introduced the man of the hour, and added “dad is proud and our late mother would have been proud.”

Reverend Sandra Walters-Malone, Meade’s wife, chaired the ceremony.
