VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Reports just reaching Virgin Islands News Online indicate that a young man is currently in a critical condition following a motorcycle accident on Virgin Gorda on Saturday November 5, 2016.

According to our sources, the young man was riding “a green and black motorcycle with a white marijuana leaf imprinted on it” when the accident occurred. The motorcycle allegedly belongs to another man.

The actual circumstances surrounding the cause of the accident are unknown at this time as well as the extent of the young man’s injuries.

A video taken at the scene shows the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue team attending to the injured man. At one point they were hear calling “Jack, no Jack” and trying to get a response from him as he was being strapped on a stretcher and taken away for further medical attention.

A voice was heard saying, “my son’s father bike, just a while ago was in my neighbourhood revving this bike, pack it up and then somebody jumps on it, now the person is in critical condition. I’m heading home now, hope Jack gets better.”

Virgin Islands News Online will bring more details as they come in.
