Man allegedly uses gun to threaten another for $$ owed

EAST END, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is said to be investigating allegations of a known individual brandishing a firearm at another in a quest to retrieve monies owed to him.

According to credible sources close to the situation, sometime after 7:00 pm on Monday April 5, 2021, the accused went to the East End home of a man he loaned $250, which was not repaid during the agreed time frame.

According to reports, an argument ensued between the two men about the owed money, which the victim admitting to borrowing but declined to repay as he was convinced the accused had broken into his home and stolen $130 and two vapes pens. 

It is unclear if anyone has been arrested or the alleged weapon retrieved.

    STOP loaning people money you know will not pay it back. And on the other hand, STOP begging to loan people's money and don't pay it back. It's their money and they want and need it back.

      A man asked me to lend him $1000.00 I lend him $500.00 because he wasn't getting any work. Now he is working, he passing me like he doesn't know me.
