GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI – The young men of the guidance counselling programme Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere (M.A.L.E.) will be holding a retreat tomorrow Friday October 23, 2015 on the Sister Island of Jost van Dyke where they will also be making a donation of two microwave ovens to the Jost van Dyke Primary and Secondary Schools.

According to President of M.A.L.E. Pastor Henderson K. Tittle, the group will be travelling tomorrow but will be spending the night before returning to Tortola on Saturday October 24, 2015.

“On Friday we will be making the donations of the microwaves to the Jost van Dyke Primary and Secondary schools before returning on Saturday,” said Tittle in a comment to this news site.

“The retreat is basically to teach them time management. So they will basically be given a schedule and they will be asked to manage their time accordingly,” he said. “They will arrive at 6:30 pm and then the schedule begins right up until 4:30 pm the next day,” he said.

According to Tittle, the boys will be split up into four groups: the Noel Lloyd Soldiers, the H. Lavity Stoutt Kings, the Ralph T. O'Neal Squad and [a team named for] Elmore Stoutt," he said.

Generally, mentors of the programme will guide the mentees through a range of topics such as respect for self and others, how to treat a lady, table manners and other life skills and practical lessons that are essential for the young men to take into their adult lives.

Pastor Tittle said that the activity will be a fun-filled one which at the same time affords the young men a chance to learn how to properly manage their time which is key to being successful in life.
