SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club (SCBBC) Under 17 Inter-District Tournament, sponsored by Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), got underway on Friday July 12, 2019 with two games.

In the opening game, Lights Out overcame Nuttin but Net 57-54 with a whopping 30 points from Malaki A. Smith at the Sea Cows Bay Basketball Court.

Smith also pulled 11 rebounds, made 1 steal, 2 assists, and 1 block.

Zachariah Jackson supported with 13 points and Stephan De Leon, 8, in the hard fought game.

The top scorers for Nuttin but Net were Shaquon George aka ‘Big Diesel’, who had 15 points and 8 rebounds; Omari Hurst (12 points), Brandon Wynter (11 points) and Jason Audain Jr (8 points).

Ballers vs Nuttin but Net

In game 2, Nuttin but Net took to the court for the second time of the day but received the same fate as the first, as they lost 38-52 to Ballers.

Ballers were led to the convincing win by Kymal T. Panchoo, who top scored with 17 points.

Aaron Williams dropped in 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

Play continued on Saturday July 13, 2019 and wraps up today, July 14, 2019.
