I can hear the sweet sound of raindrops as they go pitter patter
The heaviness of the mist fills the air
The thick fog surrounds me
I am trapped in the consequence of my past
I can’t seem to get through the storm
My pillow has become my valley
War raging – in my mind, my soul, my spirit
Regret has become my shadow
My painful present ever before me
Why did I not learn…
Why did I not see…
The writing was on the wall
My eyes blinded by the illusion of what my heart felt, seek
Feeling like a wounded bird unable to move
The incomprehensible blow
The venomous sting of Love
Rising from the ashes
Stronger, Braver, Renewed Hope in mankind
In a world where it’s believed that having Love is the closest thing to Magic…
