Lopsided affairs in Week 3 of BVIFA National League

EAST END, Tortola, VI- It was a weekend of lopsided affairs and goal fests when the BVI Football Association (BVIFA) National League continued on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

One Caribbean vs Sea Argo

At East End, One Caribbean were only able to score one goal in the first half against an 8-man Sea Argo but whipped in 7 in the second half as Sea Argo ran out of steam.

Webster Pryce netted in the 25th and 43rd minutes, Kelvin Glasgow in the 39th and 44th minutes, Prudent Rosier in the 50th minute, Dameion Webb in the 57th minute and Ramon De La Cruz in the 68th minute.

Sea Argo’s McKoy Blake netted an Own Goal in the 52nd minute.

Islanders vs Rebels

Over on Virgin Gorda, Islanders took sweet revenge on Rebels, who booted them from the 2019 Terry Evans Cup.

Islanders lashed in 6 goals while Rebels were only able to get a goal after Islander’s Charles Bonnick mistakenly put the ball into the back of his own net in the 88th minute.

Rohan Lennon  (24th), Oswort Holder 39th), Charles Bonnick (44th), Kevin Fisher-Daniel (63rd), Sheldon Harry (74th) and McTair James (88th) were the men on target for Islanders.

One Love vs Lion Heart

In the second Game on Virgin Gorda, One Love stopped Lion Heart, 4-0.

Okeyne Thenstead (66th), Lenroy Murray (69th), Micheal Baptichon (72nd) and Oral Perry (78th) were the men getting on the scoresheets.

Play continues on Sunday, November 10, 2019 with another 3 games.
