Lettsome & Duff doing well at Worlds
Both boys qualified for the Worlds in a series of regattas prior to this regatta.
The conditions have been extremely difficult as the boys are sailing in conditions very different from the stable, predictable winds of the Virgin Islands.
After the qualifying days, Thad Lettsome was placed into the Red Flight. Currently, Lettsome is sitting at 45th place out of 68 competitors. Rayne Duff worked his way into the Blue Flight in the first couple of days in the qualifiers. Duff is currently positioned 29th out of 70 competitors.
The boys have a couple more days of racing, and have completed 6 out of the total 12 races (maximum) that they will sail.
The regatta runs until today October 30, 2014.
The Club Náutico San Isidro is in San Isidro, a town to the North of Buenos Aires, approximately 47 km away from Ezeiza International Airport and 20 km away from the centre of Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentina.
San Isidro is a big town with many attractions but the most representative are the Cathedral and the square, just in the heart of the historic part of the town, characterised by old traditional houses and cobblestoned streets.
