Laboratory Technician
Penn Medical Center has an opening for a Laboratory Technician
· Perform quality control tests in the lab as well as on-site when necessary
· Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment in preparation for specific tasks
· Drawing blood samples, preparing samples for test and overseas shipment maintaining protocols
· Processing insurance and uploading of results
· Perform quality control tests on specimen, reagents on scheduled cycles
· Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management
· Recognize and report any safety issues and irregularities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of laboratory experience
- Registered with BVI Allied Health Services
