Horse owners express confidence

Veteran horse owner Violet 'Letty' Delville Hodge said she is expecting her horses L&B Thunder and Bitter Sweet Dream to do well. “I expect them to win,” she said, adding that her horses are in tip top shape ahead of the races.

Lesmore Smith of Top Priority Racing Stables has five horses in the running, two of which are in the feature race – Bellamy Chief and Exploring. “At the and of the day I feel confident about the feature race,” he said.

“I expect a good race, I expect an excellent race out of it. I am looking forward for great things out of [all the horses],” he said.
