LEVERICK BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI - It was well supported as it is every year, but only one boater walked away with the big first prize of $8000.00 in the May 27, 2018, annual Leverick Bay Poker Run.

The winner was Kalik S. Aaron of Tortola with his boat named ‘Feeds the Need’. Mr Aaron picked five perfect cards and was announced the winner around 7:30 P.M. last evening.

There were four stops starting at Scrub Island, then Foxy’s Bar and Restaurant on Jost van Dyke, and the third being at Pirates Bight on Norman Island. The fourth was at the Tortola Pier Park, with the final leg of the race at Leverick Bay Resort & Marina on Virgin Gorda.

Our newsroom caught up with Mr Aaron who said he was “surprised by the win but I am happy”. When asked what he will do with his prize Mr Aaron smiled.

Thousands participated in the event, and we will bring you the other winners when they become available.

So how exactly do Kids afford a boat like this? I am obviously doing something wrong! What line of work should I be doing? This isn’t aimed just at this gentleman but there seems to be lots of young men with nice boats.

Two keys to a better and peaceful life may include: stop watching belongings of others and watch yours and avoid comparing yourself to others. We all have the same 24hrs in a day. Just like how he is working hard for what he wants in life you can sacrifice and do the same. Too much hate, jealousy and envy amongst this society. With that being said, congratulation Mr. Aaron.

I suspect that they don’t sit at their GOVT desk all day surfing the internet, being negative and not doing their job!

The best thing about Google is that it keeps everyones past public so if you are interested Google the name of people in the news story for their past history. It works with most news articles. Always remeber that previous performamce is not an indication of future.

So what’s your point? Show me one person that does not have skeletons in their closet. Since your errors in life and wrong doings are not on the internet you are a saint? Oh ok... You all need to stop judging and start uplifting these young people. If he was on the news for something negative I guess you all would be happy. You all make me sick to my stomach. Give me your government name let me sit and wait patiently for judgement day.
