ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Information reaching Virgin Islands News Online is that Xavier Morgan, a member of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, is now being housed at Her Majesty’s Prison in Balsam Ghut, Tortola, for alleged indecent assault on a schoolgirl.

Morgan was transferred to the prison on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, after he made his maiden appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

The embattled police officer reportedly reserved his plea when the allegations, which are unknown to us at this time, were put to him.

We understood that the young cop, who recently joined the RVIPF from Jamaica, touched the schoolgirl inappropriately during an encounter.

If you take a pig out of the mud, bathe it up nicely, dress it up nicely put it in a house, if that pig get out that house, it will go straight back in the mud. Mr. Commissioner it makes no sense boast about numbers in the force and you are not getting the quality you need. It’s time to change coast, set the wheels in motion and do your proper background check. It is embarrassing for the force to recruit this younger and in less than 10 months, this is what you get. And don’t fool yourself, there are much more in that force, both civilian staff and police Officer.

I am really going to watch this case because super cop was reinstated after been found guilty in a criminal court rather than been dismissed by Mathews, and his case was a serious case . And now he has come back with more arrogance.

@hmmm, you come on here trying to compare supa cop case with this one, those who do not understand supa cop case will always look at it in a negative light. Supa cop case was not like what people think it was, that case reach the court out of spite, which it should have never reach there in the first place. What supa cop took as a joke got serious when he had to deal With the individual in a traffic matter. Supa cop at the time was joking around too much and it landed him before the court, it’s not that he was deliberately indecently assaulting the man. So for him to got back his job was just in the circumstances. The magistrate at the time should have dismiss that case.

This is a very unfortunate incident, and certainly not limited to nationality, but I still maintain there is no other country in the WORLD where so many expatriates are allowed to serve in areas of national security. Something is very wrong with this precedence, and it needs to be addressed ASAP!

Too much relatives.. To much dirty hands.. Justice would be much harder to achieve... It is there for people to join, but do they want to?... Would you like the number of police to be fewer?... Would you like it to be more like the wild west?... When you get kids or if you have tell ,them to join. You should also join to cut down the number of outsiders on the force.

Can't convict the man before he is tried. Seems like people are finding him guilty before he is even found guilty.

"It is alleged that the officer reportedly met the said victim while he was attempting to organise a cadet unit for youngsters." (BVI News today)

Now this is troubling and continue to prove that people entrusted with children and youths cannot be trusted. Always have an ulterior motive. Hey man, the girl in school clothes. Some of them girls will test you. Practice restraint and hands off of them no matter what. Even if they tell you they're 18 (which they do), the fact that she is in a place of a minor, let it go. Don't entertain them thoughts bro. I don't know what happened and what the truth is, and whether in your favour or the girl's favor, I pray that the truth will unfold. Who have to pay the price will do so, and who got to be vindicated will be vindicated.

Did he rape her or not? I don't understand this language touched her inappropriately during an encounter. Was he arresting her? Fighting her? Raping her? I don't know what it is he did so I can't comment any further. Ppl get touched inappropriately when fighting police, so if that was the violation then it's nothing but we don't know based on this article

I’ve known him since since 2011 and he’s of a good character. Someone who always wants the best for people, I know he’s innocent and i also know that God has a plan for him too because God know this was going to happen before it did. Hold the faith Morgan and don’t watch the negative that people have to say remember you still have your real people who love you and will support and stand with you to the end.

I have known this young man since he was a cadet himself in high school in jamaica and I have heard some of the things he have been going through since joining the police force in that country, this happening right here is all about fabricating and twisting the truth in an effort to damage his good character and get rid of him. Morgan!!! Keep strong keep fighting. @tillyourlastbreath

To all the ignorant, judgmental, and foolish individuals on here calm down. Mr. Morgan is innocent, you heard me! This is a set up! The person who's pushing this have issues. Yes ma'am you know who you are. The truth will come out. I pray the court and jury will see the truth and not the false accusations. Karma so do the right thing and dropped this foolishness and give the man his good name back...
