It’s time to get the NDP out – VIP’s President Carvin Malone
In urging the residents to become knowledgeable of the constitution of the VIP he told them that there are two seats for Jost Van Dyke on the VIP executive. “Tonight is important for us to set the ball rolling to let you know that the whole process of taking the country back [and] leading it in the right direction has to start,” he said.
Mr Malone served as the chairperson at his party’s first in a series of meetings on Jost Van Dyke on Wednesday July 16, 2014 which was held in the conference room of Rudy’s Bar.
Telling residents that with VIP Chairman Honourable Julian Fraser RA (R3) at the head of the party the perfect opportunity for the process of taking the country back is now ripe. “The opportunity is here for us to take the country back, put it in the right direction and make sure that we have people first and that we have the dreams and ideals of Jost Van Dyke, the dreams and ideals of the entire Territory from District 1 to District 9. It can be realized because there is a lot to be done...” said Mr Malone.
He said a simple cursory view of the development that has taken place on Jost Van Dyke brings to the realization the need for action.
He told residents that there it is important that their small businesses are supported by an administration who cares and understands, “And its only by doing this, by getting the Virgin Islands Party government in because if it is that we move towards a 15 seat House of Assembly (HoA) I am sure that the Virgin Islands Party will support representatives in the District from Jost Van Dyke and Anegada as opposed to two additional Territorial seats.”
The VIP President said that they need to put the power in the hands of the people, “… and the people of Jost Van Dyke know more about Jost Van Dyke than anyone else on Tortola or Virgin Gorda or anywhere else so their views and concerns can be better tabulated in the House (HoA)...”

Of course it is C...in. The complex down Pock Wood Pond needs to be filled immediately! We don't expect you to say anything else, carry on man. LOL!
you can eat you are now getting hungry so you begin to cry.
But I also worry about over-development on JVD as more roads go in. There is a fine balance. Foxy and the charter boats want to see relaxed and natural. BVI is in growing pains right now. Take care of immediate business first and explain what is important and why. I'm sorry to day I cringe every time I hear Fraser beat his chest. The choice will soon be the lesser of two evils. Keep the message simple and grounded so everyone can understand it.
