By Bella Rose

Everyone waited frantically for you to arrive

Praying and hoping that God will help us all to survive

With your 250 miles per hour hurricane wind gusts

You rained on the “Just” and the “Unjust”

Your rage and fury knew no bounds

You beat, killed and destroyed with an ugly frown

The BVI was marked on your page

As you swept through her with your ugly rage

Who would have known that you would be such a Beast

Wreaking havoc and destruction from North to South and West to East

You will always be remembered by all that survived

Thanking God daily for sparing our lives

Thank you God for your Love, Mercy and Grace

That Irma did not claim death as all of our fate

As a BVI we are Strong and Resilient

Your devastation may have caused us billions

Out of the Ashes we will RISE

Rebuilding our homes and our lives

Thank you god for once again showing how sadistic, angry, heartless and full of vengeance and anger you are by ruining the lives of so many innocent people and killing some of those innocent people. Sorry people but there is nothing to thank an imaginary fairy in the sky for.

      Bless your heart my dear...
John 6:60-64 - When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) ...Peter 5:8 describes the devil accurately, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

To jones: Having God in ur boat doesn't mean You will not face storms
What it does mean is that "no storm" can sink your boat.. walk in faith an u'll never walk alone ..God is a faithful God. When the children of Israel rebelled so much against Him did He not Chastise them and "still" looked out for them? his word says just as your earthly father can Chastise you so will him.. you being alive to write that post is His Mercy being extended to u.. so be thankful..

He is real and I can testify to that. Just go to Him in deep prayer fasting etc ask Him what ever you desire and He will sure come to your aid and you will see the wonders of my Saviour. Lovely poem.

That poem is beautifully written, expressing the savage experience of those of us that survived as well as encouraging the overcoming spirit of the people of these beautiful islands. Well done!
