Honors takes feature race @ Ellis Thomas Downs

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Bellamy Chief of Top Priority Racing Stables was denied victory on debut as Honors galloped to the finish line first in the feature race of a 5-race card organised by the BVI Horse Owners Association at Ellis Thomas Downs on February 28, 2016.

In front of a small crowd, Honors of Family Affair Stables romped home to win by six lengths over second place finisher Bellamy Chief.

Exploring, also of Top Priority Racing Stables, finished third in the race for Class A horses and contested over 7 furlongs.

The first race of the day brought victory for Wasi Charleswell and Case Close Stables as Dramacidel overcame the lone competition, L&B Thunder. The race for Class E horses was run over 7 furlongs.

Race 2, contested over 7 furlongs by Class D horses, was won by Buy Buy Buy of 284 Racing Stables, with Meddling Birdie second and Mark It A Wynn third.

Sir Whisky of The Boys Stables and Gottocha Bob of Mission House Stables did not finish.

Crazy Laura wins on debut

Crazy Laura of Top Priority Racing Stables then made it a debut win in the 6 ½ furlong race for Fillies and Mares. Bitter Sweet Dream of L&B Racing Stables was second and Miss Homer third.

The final race of the day belonged to Daboluck of Thomasville Stables. Star Ship Titan of Strictly Business Stables was second and Atorrante of 284 Racing Stables was third. Yes By Eric of The Boys Stables failed to complete the 6 ½ furlong race for Class B & C Horses.

      idiot, they did not run for free, the gate money will be shared between all the winners, plus this is what u call good sportsmanship, horse owners, big up to u guys! (lesmore- u were lucky family affairs did not send out they big horse my pal shawn, u would of gotten beaten by at least 15 horse lengths!
