PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- One of the most anticipated road race series in the territory, the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) College Classic Race Series kicks off this Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the college’s campus in Paraquita Bay, Tortola.
This year’s series, sponsored by Mourant, will see four races run on Tortola and three on Virgin Gorda.
The races include a One Mile for Under 9 Division and the 2 Mile option for individuals and teams.
The 2-mile series on Tortola will follow the usual route, taking runners from the roundabout in the HLSCC campus, out of the gate and turn right to then go into Agriculture Road and proceed to a cone for the turnaround and return to the starting point for the finish.
Registration starts at 6:30am and race time is 7:00am.
The Virgin Gorda series gets underway on September 21, 2019.
This year will be the 24th season of the HLSCC College Classic Race Series.
